Bill Gates Makes a Pitch -
Bill Gates speaking at a TED conference -(Technology, Entertainment, Design) - Here Gates is making a pitch to head off CO2 in the Earth's atmosphere to avert a 'worse case scenario' for our climate, and doing so by creating new technologies...not a bad idea.
BUT.....Approx. at frame 4:40 he talks about how we need to lower the population of the planet, through VACCINES, HEALTHCARE and REPRODUCTIVE HEALTH!!!......WHAT???
Does that mean that vaccines would be used to eliminate people? Aren't vaccines supposed to prevent loss of life? And 'healthcare' to do what, not treat people? And 'reproductive health'..well, that doesn't mean to reproduce, it means ABORTIONS..KILL FETUSES!!!
(He also mentions vaccines this way again around time frame 17:30)
He mentions 'geo-engineering' which is known in some circles as 'chemtrails' - whereby particulates are sprayed into the atmosphere via airplanes to reflect sunlight away from the planet - (this has been going on for years!)
He also falsely says, there are few scientists who are skeptical about 'man-made global warming',(see our YAP page) and it is a 'lonely camp' for those who do.
(He also didn't know that 'fireflies/lightning bugs' didn't bite!

Political Correctness vs. Freedom of Thought - The Keith John Sampson Story -
An unfortunate, but all too common story about ignorant, power-wielding people who want to control what others read, and even think, as in this story - under the guise of 'correcting wrongs' i.e. Political correctness (although it doesn't 'correct' anything). Harassment - this word is used, often incorrectly, and with hurtful consequences.What used to be called 'common sense' - which meant exercising 'good' judgement' - is now ignorance, accepting whatever anyone says as valid - without thinking for oneself - this type of non-thinking rules today - even on a university campus where free thinking is supposed to be honored and developed!

One story of how a young person was given psychotropic drugs while in foster care - even though she didn't need them. She relates how many others in the house where she resided - were using many different types of medications -. It's a sad state of affairs.

Incident at Oglala is a 1992 documentary by Michael Apted, narrated by Robert Redford. The film documents the murder of two FBI agents, Coler and Williams, on the Pine Ridge Indian Reservation in 1975, and the legal case surrounding the subsequent trials of Jimmy Eagle, Bob Robideau, Darrell Butler, and Leonard Peltier. Peltier was convicted of the murders, but many, including the International Indian Treaty Council, believe Peltier is innocent of the crimes. Apted was nominated for the Critics Award in 1992 for this film

"Spying on the Homefront"
A very good PBS documentary concerning our country's security apparatus i.e. Homeland Security, National Security Agency - (NSA), FBI etc. spying on Americans while they puportedly try to track down 'terrorists' in the United States. Rights and liberties being at stake - it was once said by Benjamin Franklin that 'Those who are willing to give up liberty for security, deserve neither'
This is a very serious issue.

How Did Bin Laden Get Away From U.S. Forces in Afghanistan? And Why?
Once again - this is an 'eye-opener' for those 'with eyes too see'! This is not 'news' to those like myself, who have followed the 9-11 story from day one!.
Early on these types of reports were all over the internet.
First, our government says that they had 'no warnings' about airplanes being used to fly into buildings! But hours after it happened, they blamed Bin Laden! Yet when they easily could have caught him, he got away...HOW? And... WHY?
Once again - this is an 'eye-opener' for those 'with eyes too see'! This is not 'news' to those like myself, who have followed the 9-11 story from day one!.
